Sometimes I think about how strange it feels to chase perfection in something that’s meant to be imperfect. There’s this thin line between appreciation and obsession, and once you cross it, even the smallest misalignment on a dial can bug you for days. It’s kind of fascinating how deep that rabbit hole goes — one moment you’re just curious, and the next you’re comparing lume brightness under different lights or timing the second hand like it actually matters. Funny how we end up finding beauty in precision, even when we know it’s not the “real” thing.
