Hello Gretta, My name is Skye and I am the Office Manager for both the Asphalt and Dirt. First, I'd like to apologize for the inconvenience of how the track was prepped that evening. Second, I want to assure you, this is not the "new normal". Hopefully, I can help shed some light on the situation, we had a series of unfortunate events for 2 weeks leading up to this race and we had thought we had the situation under control, and in fact we were wrong resulting in a ill prepped track and a longer night than anticipated. We took this past weekend off, July 15th, to rectify any loose ends we still had when it came to track prep so we could assure enthusiasts like yourself that was a one off weekend and will not happen again!
